Kendra is Bridges Equestrian’s lead instructor and show coach. Kendra’s attention to detail and focus on equitation make her a fantastic match for up and coming riders. She teaches all levels of Hunter/Jumpers and enjoys spending her free time doing what she loves most…riding!
Kendra grew up riding in the Las Vegas area. As a young rider she had great success showing in the Las Vegas area, Huntington Beach and Carlsbad. From Las Vegas she moved to the Mid West and rode on the A circuit with Kirin Farms. She attended Colorado State University and earned her Bachelors in Equine Science. While attending school she dabbled in playing polo for the school’s club team and had a part time job working at a therapeutic riding facility.
When she finished school she took off for the other side of the country accepting her first full time position at a huge show barn; Palm Beach Riding Academy. Kendra stayed in Florida for a bit showing as a catch rider in the Wellington Equestrian Festival. She then decided she was too far from home, packed up her saddle and headed back to Las Vegas. There she ran the Las Vegas Riding Academy until Bridges Equestrian snagged her up and brought her to beautiful Southern California.
Kendra has attended clinics by George Morris, Hap Hanson, Susie Hutchinson, Mike Nielson, Frank Madden and several others. She has trained under some of the top trainers in the Las Vegas, Mid West, and Palm Beach areas.
